As our IT System Administrator, your mission is to build and maintain a digital ecosystem which empowers innovation and reliability. You fortify the backbone of our technological infrastructure. From maintaining seamless operations to implementing robust security protocols; you will be at the forefront of ensuring that our systems are not only efficient but also resilient.

You will contribute to our success by:

  • Managing our network: You are responsible for the wired and wireless network in our Munich Headquarter and take care of monitoring performances, enabling additional security measures and improving ease of use.
  • Collaborating with teams: You identify IT-needs through cross-functional collaboration and provide technical support for projects and initiatives.
  • Maintaining our MDM: You maintain and further develop the Mobile Device Management for our Windows and Apple notebooks.
  • Setting up Access- and Identity Management Processes: You set up processes for our company-wide tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Office 365 landscape) and contribute to designing and introducing more automation tools or ideas to reduce manual efforts.
  • Owning the whole device life-cycle: You finding suitable vendors, evaluate purchasing options, order, troubleshoot and decommission all work devices.
  • Implementing security measures: You introduce further measures to safeguard the organisation's data, systems, and networks against unauthorized access and potential threats.
  • Ensuring backups: You roll-out processes to ensure backups of critical data are in place and establish business continuity management for major incidents or disasters.
  • Designing and setting up infrastructure: You build the network infrastructures for our new offices.
  • Mentoring team members: You mentor and train team members on existing and new technologies.
  • Supporting various projects: You support internal teams on projects like data security topics, audits or certification processes such as ISO and TISAX.

What makes you stand out:

  • Professional training ("Berufsausbildung") in Information Technology, Computer Science or a similar field (e. g. "Fachinformatik").
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in a Senior System Administrator role.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols, firewall configurations, and network security.
  • A structured and proactive approach to tackling technical problems where you see or foresee them.
  • Enthusiasm for new technologies and willingness for continuous improvement of your skills.
  • The urge and passion to automate as much as possible.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with different stakeholders.
  • Ability to transform complex matters into learning material that is easy to understand for stakeholders with different levels of experience.
  • Experience in using ticket systems such as Jira Software or Jira Service Desk would be a Plus.
  • Great command of English and at least B2 German skills.
