Operations & Finance Intern

München / Corporate Functions / Internship | Full-Time

As an Operations and Finance Intern, you'll play a pivotal role collaborating across all business units. Your primary responsibility will involve overseeing internal operations critical to driving our growth initiatives. Additionally, you'll contribute to managing the company's finances, ensuring operational efficiency, and supporting strategic decision-making for the future of 4screen.

You will contribute to our success by:

  • Analyzing and improving our workflow processes & tools: you will evaluate, implement and manage company tools (e.g. expense management tool Spendesk, company phone Sipgate, etc.) to foster the efficiency and scalability of our company.
  • Making sure that we meet compliance requirements: you will drive compliance topics (esp. sustainability/ESG) to meet our external customer and partner requirements as well as legal regulations.
  • Supporting the management of company OKRs and KPIs: you will evaluate and improve our internal reporting processes and governance.
  • Supporting us in our market expansion and internationalization: you will set up the operational and financial infrastructure that is needed to launch our products successfully in new markets.
  • Growing our external financing: You will identify and apply for exciting funding opportunities and participate in the preparation of our funding rounds.
  • Controlling and managing our company costs and expenses: You will manage supplier invoices and employee-initiated reimbursements as well as handle dunning processess.

What makes you stand out:

  •  Bachelor or Masters Studies in international business, finance, management, economics, administration or equivalent.
  • Open-minded and good communicator as collaboration and effective communication across different teams/stakeholders is a part of the daily work.
  • Problem-solving skills and proactive hands-on approach, also when operating with limited information.
  • Interest and motivation to work on diverse tasks and projects in a dynamic start-up environment.
  • High proficiency in excel.
  • Proficiency in English is a must, German is a plus.
  • Previous experience in Operations or Finance-related positions is a plus.
  • Familiarity with an ERP system (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is a plus
